2022 September 17 - Perseverance in Jezero Crater's Delta

In today's image, we see the surface of Mars as imaged by the Perseverance Rover. We are looking at the delta of an ancient river basin on the surface of Mars. Samples are being collected and stored for return to Earth in the future.
