2022 September 25 - The Fairy of the Eagle Nebula

In today's image, we see part of the Eagle Nebula which may resemble a fairy - but, a fairy over 10 light years tall! This is part of a star forming region where ether stars are shaping the dust into patterns. Over time, the dust will be pushed away so that, in a hundred thousand years or so, we will be left with just a cluster of stars.
