2021 December 01 - A Blue Banded Blood Moon

In today's image, we see the partially eclipsed Moon from November 19. The red portion is in Earth's shadow while the gray portion is directly illuminated by our Sun. The blue band in the middle is light passing through Earth's upper atmosphere where the red light is better absorbed.
